Sweet Keyhole

Wedge each hand deposit into the sapwood ring. Heartwood thickens only when you season that outer ring.

Sweet Keyhole is for people who save loose cash toward one named goal and want the plant to move on a deliberate season commit, rather than on every typed amount or a bank feed.

Season the ring

  1. Wedge

    Enter a cash amount. Sweet Keyhole writes a WedgeMark, adds it to the sapwood ring, and folds Bare to Wedged. Heartwood and the trunk radius stay fixed. A zero or negative amount adds nothing.

  2. Season

    When the sapwood ring holds cash, Season writes a SeasonMark, moves the entire ring into heartwood, clears the ring, and plays one growth pulse. The fold goes toward Ripe, or back to Bare. Season on an empty ring is refused.

  3. Peel

    Peel removes only the last wedge from the sapwood ring. Heartwood never decreases. A wedge after the goal is Ripe is refused.

Garden

Home is the pith cross-section. The trunk fills the remaining height. A sapwood band wraps the trunk. The heartwood arc shows the total against the target, with quartile wires on the quarters. The goal name keeps its height. Wedge, Season, and Peel share one strip, and the Season capsule runs the full width of that strip.

When nothing is planted, Garden is the full-page empty state. The headline reads The garden is empty. The line under it reads Plant your first goal. A full-width Plant capsule sits at the bottom.

The other screens

Plant
A sheet for a goal name and a target. The goals key opens Plant already filled with the planted name and target. When a goal is Ripe, plant the next name and target on the pith.
Analytics
A sheet whose top is a monthly count of seasons and whose lower part is the commit timeline, including the sap ring size at each commit. With no seasons, the sheet reads No seasons yet and Commit a ring on Garden to see it here.
Currency
A full-height list of currency names with one selected row. Currency is its own screen.
Export
A column of commit rows with date, kind, and amount, plus a full-width Save capsule that shares a file. Export is its own screen.
Settings
A short form for the currency row, the export row, reset, the contact link, and running onboarding again.
Ripe
The screen for a goal whose heartwood has reached the target.
